What You'll Do
* Lead high-complexity full-scope and targeted inspections (including third-party and cross-office reviews), applying European risk-based methodology and global documentation standards
* Design inspection scope using Compliance Risk Assessment outputs, identifying key regulatory risks, requirements, and business context
* Direct and perform control design assessments, walkthroughs, testing, sampling, and documentation in line with M&T standards
* Produce clear, risk-aligned reports with actionable recommendations to address control weaknesses
* Partner with the Manager to embed analytics, dashboards, automation, and risk scoring to improve inspection depth and efficiency
* Provide coaching and technical guidance; support knowledge-sharing, methodology training, and updates to procedures and frameworks
* Contribute to the annual monitoring plan, drive process and technology enhancements, and build strong cross-functional relationships to ensure prioritisation, avoid duplication, and deliver effective combined assurance

What You Bring
* 5+ years Compliance Monitoring experience within financial services
* Experience within Financial Services/Banking/Investment Management is essential
* Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and the ability to interpret controls, processes, and risk drivers across diverse business areas
* Strong understanding of key regulations in both UK and Europe (experience with FCA and/or CBI regulations)
* Demonstrates strong technical expertise, strategic thinking, and effective leadership capability
