Senior Communication and DSP Engineer

An exciting opportunity for a Senior Communications & DSP Engineer has arisen with a leading R&D team developing next-generation optical communication solutions for the automotive industry, based in Madrid.
This is a unique chance to work at the forefront of high-speed intensity-modulation/direct-detect systems, designing advanced DSP and FEC algorithms for cutting-edge optoelectronic applications. You'll collaborate closely with Analog, Mixed-Signal, and Digital IC design teams to drive system architecture, model optical channels, and support the full development lifecycle.
You will commit to a hybrid working model, required onsite 4 days a week.
Experience of the Senior Communications & DSP Engineer includes:
- 10 years' experience with DSP, FEC, and information theory
- Expertise in modelling optical and electrical communication systems
- Hands-on experience with MATLAB, C/C++, and Unix/Linux systems
- Bonus: Knowledge of IM/DD optical communication systems and optoelectronic components
- English language
