We provide commercial leadership across procurement, contracting, and supplier engagement to deliver a first-of-a-kind SMR power station. About the role:As a Senior Commercial Officer - Supply Chain, you will play a pivotal role in managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring commercial governance. You will support the development of commercial strategies and processes that enable effective delivery across the programme. What Success Looks Like: Lead and manage commercial activities, including drafting, negotiating, and executing supplier contracts. Contribute to commercial strategy and pricing decisions, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Support governance, processes, and templates to mature the commercial function. Collaborate across the business to present compelling commercial insights to senior stakeholders.# What We're Looking For: Experience in contract drafting and negotiation, ideally across supply chain agreements but experience of working on other types of commercial contract is welcome. Knowledge of commercial strategy, pricing models, and risk management. Ability to work cross-functionally and present information clearly to senior stakeholders. These are:• Obtaining Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance • Satisfactory completion of a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check • Satisfactory completion of a basic financial probity check# Salary and Package: We anticipate paying a salary of between £42,500 - £52,500 DOE Bonus - Performance related target opportunity 12.5% Benefits Allowance - £2,200 per annum, enabling you to create a bespoke package Pension - 12% employer and 6% employee contributions. Holidays - 28 days holiday (+ public holidays) and the ability to buy or sell up to 4 days.
