University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust (UHS) has a busy, complex cardiac and congenital cardiac surgery service. Our large perfusion team plays a vital role in supporting safe patient care and achieving some of the best patient outcomes in England. We are seeking experienced Senior Clinical Perfusion Scientists (8a) to join our Cardiovascular and Thoracic care group, recognized as a regional centre of excellence.

Successful candidates should be familiar with cardiac surgical techniques used on neonatal, paediatric, and adult patients, including cell salvage, point of care blood analysis, ECMO, Percutaneous Hepatic Perfusion, and research. We welcome applications from candidates without all these clinical exposures, as we offer comprehensive training.

The department currently offers a 37.5-hour, 3-day working week.
