Senior Clinical Fellow in Plastic Surgery

This is a fixed-term, full-time appointment based at Lister Hospital in Stevenage, where the post holder will participate on the middle grade rota.

Main Duties

• Initiate necessary investigations and refer patients to the on call specialist team when indicated.
• See patients in the Plastic Dressing Clinic and operate with consultants on elective and trauma patients.
• Attend to patients both on the ward and in the outpatient setting.
• Independently carry out minor operations.
• Participate as part of the 1 8 on call rota.

Qualifications / Training

• Hold a current licence to practice from the General Medical Council.
• MBBS or equivalent.

Previous Experience

• At least 2 years plastic surgical experience.
• NHS experience.

Knowledge

• Experience of audit.

Fitness to Practice

• Evidence of engagement with appraisal and revalidation.
