We are recruiting for a Senior Claims Adjuster -Casualty, on behalf of an extremely well-regarded London MarketInsurer.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluatingand processing claims estimates and paid claims values accurately and in atimely manner.
- Investigatingand resolving complex claims of a specialist nature, providing excellentservice with minimal leakage.
- Managingestimates and billings calculated by clients and brokers, resolvingdiscrepancies promptly.
- Identifyingand addressing coverage issues to ensure company liability aligns withcontractual commitments.
- Pursuingsubrogation, contribution, and other recovery opportunities.
- Producingregular statistical and analytical claims information for effectivemonitoring and decision-making.
- Actingas a referral point for other team members, providing guidance and supporton specific tasks or complex claims.
Key Requirements
- Extensive knowledge of technical claimshandling in a group claims function within a regulatedenvironment.
- Strongunderstanding of delegated and third-party claims management fromtechnical, commercial, and operational perspectives.
- Excellentinterpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to buildconstructive relationships across teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiencyin MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and the ability toproduce detailed reports and management information.
- Strongproblem-solving, investigative, and negotiation skills, with acustomer-oriented approach.
- Proventrack record in managing complex and disputed claims matters, providingexpert guidance and opinion.
- Recognisedqualifications and/or practical knowledge of the insurance regulatoryframework.
