Senior Civil Design Engineer

FINTEC recruit is supporting for a Senior Civil Design Engineer working within civils engineering design team. The role is based in the Greater Manchester region, permanent and is up to circa £50,000 negotiable by experience plus benefits/contributory pension.

Responsibilities:

• Produce design calculations and drawings.
• Prepare design investigations, reports and specifications.
• Design in compliance with relevant technical, professional and group standards.
• Ensure project change for design package is fully implemented and recorded.
• Mentor/direct and develop CAD technicians and more junior designers and graduates.
• Estimate hours required for design packages

Skills and experience required for the Senior Civil Design Engineer

• 5-10 years' relevant design experience in structural and/or civil engineering
• Degree or HND qualified
• Good IT skills
• Registered with professional body and working towards chartership or willing to work towards.
