Job Description

• Develop and implement category strategies to drive growth and profitability.
• Directly lead and manage a team of 2 Category Managers.
• Analyse market trends and customer insights to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business goals.
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and retail partners.
• Monitor competitor activity and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Lead category reviews and present findings to internal and external stakeholders.
• Support the development of marketing plans to enhance product visibility.
• Ensure effective implementation of category initiatives across the FMCG sector.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Category Manager should have:

• Proven expertise in category management within the FMCG industry.
• Open to buyers, however candidates must have some experience of working for a manufactuer.
• Management experience a bonus but not essential.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
• Experience in managing relationships with key stakeholders and retail partners.
• Ability to develop and execute strategic plans effectively.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Competitive salary ranging from £60,000 to £70,000 per year.
