Bright Selection is delighted to working with an exciting provider who is seeking an experienced Senior Care Assistant, supporting the delivery of safe, high-quality, person-centred care.

With strong clinical leadership and operational support in place, this role offers long-term development and the opportunity to play a key role in maintaining high standards of care and team supervision.

Requirements:

• NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
• Medication administration qualification and experience.
• Previous experience within a care home environment.
• Good understanding of care planning, risk assessments, and CQC standards.
• Confident communication skills and basic IT literacy.

Responsibilities:

• Delivering direct personal care and promoting resident dignity and independence.
• Supporting and reviewing care plans alongside the Nurse.
• Administering medication and maintaining accurate records.
• Monitoring resident wellbeing and escalating concerns appropriately.
• Supervising and supporting Care Assistants within the team.
• Ensuring compliance with safeguarding, infection control, and health & safety standards.
