They are looking for a Senior Design Engineer to take ownership of complex mechanical design projects and play a key role in delivering high-performance engineering solutions for demanding customer environments.

The RoleAs a Senior Design Engineer, you'll lead the design and development of engineering components and assemblies from concept through to production, working closely with customers and internal engineering teams.
You will:
- Design innovative engineering components and assemblies to customer specifications
- Create detailed 3D CAD models and technical drawings
- Develop new product concepts and engineering solutions
- Improve existing products and manufacturing processes
- Ensure designs meet safety and regulatory standards
- Present concepts and final designs to customers and stakeholders
- Support and mentor junior engineers within the design team
- Work closely with mechanical and project teams to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget
- Proven experience as a Senior Design Engineer or experienced Design Engineer ready to step up
- Strong mechanical design and product development background
- Solid understanding of Design for Manufacture (DFM) principles
- Experience with 3D CAD systems (Siemens NX or similar)
- Experience working with PLM systems such as Teamcentre
- Good understanding of engineering safety and compliance standards
- Engineering degree or equivalent professional qualification
- SC Clearance or eligibility to obtain it
- Strong communication and leadership skills
