(Senior) C++ Software Engineer (all genders)

Salary: 45.000 - 75.000 € per year

• University degree in the field of information technology or a related subject
• At least 5 years of professional experience in the field of software development
• Excellent knowledge in C++
• Interest or knowledge in Web technologies (TypeScript / HTML5) or C# is a plus
• Good knowledge in Design Patterns and architectural knowledge in object-oriented programming
• Fluency in English is mandatory; German is a plus

• We are looking for a (Senior) Software Engineer (all genders) to actively contribute to the development of new features for our remote assistance solution using the newest standards of C++. You will report to the Team Lead Software Development and have an excellent opportunity to create impact and add value in an agile, modern environment. Your responsibilities will include:
• Designing and developing multi-threaded and high scaling server- and client-side Aftersales/remote assistance solutions
• Optimizing our software to deliver the best connectivity on resource-limited devices (operating panels, gateways, even harvesters)
• Ensuring that our software is stable and runs efficiently on many different systems
• Monitoring the state of the art in the tech landscape and software development, making proposals for improvement based on your current state of knowledge
• Recommending improvements to architecture and technologies to further enhance our systems and codebase regarding reliability, maintenance, scalability, and efficiency
