WWSO is part of the AWS Specialist & Partner (ASP) organization, responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including the public sector. We focus on solving complex customer challenges to build and execute go-to-market plans that turn AWS ideas into multi-billion-dollar businesses. Our teams include business development, specialist, and technical solutions architecture. We provide expertise across the entire customer initiative lifecycle, from developing new services to accelerating adoption of existing ones. As AWS and Amazon Connect grow rapidly, we seek a Business Value Specialist (BVS) to help customers maximize the financial benefits of Amazon Connect. You will analyze contact center operations, recommend optimizations for cost savings, and help customers understand the total cost of ownership and economic impact of transitioning to Connect. Key responsibilities include discovering customer outcomes, creating business justification proposals, and working with the AWS team to realize the full potential of Amazon Connect.

Key job responsibilities
  1. Engage with customers to understand their desired outcomes, technical requirements, and optimization opportunities to create business value.
  2. Create and present proposals that address specific business needs for those considering migration to Amazon Connect.
  3. Leverage financial analysis and customer experience expertise to illustrate the benefits of Amazon Connect.
  4. Identify opportunities to optimize customer value realization from Amazon Connect.
  5. Create tools enabling AWS teammates to perform benefit analyses for their customers.
A day in the life

The BVS listens to customer key outcomes, dives into how they maximize their Amazon Connect investment, and collaborates to build compelling business cases. The role involves identifying opportunities for existing customers and scaling methodologies for broader team impact.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years in business development or consulting within enterprise software, cloud, or SaaS companies.
  • Experience creating and presenting business value proposals to VP and C-level executives.
  • Experience with contact center technology transformation initiatives.
  • Deep understanding of cloud technologies, including public and hybrid cloud platforms.
  • Program management experience across cross-functional teams, process building, and release coordination.
  • Financial analysis skills and proficiency in PowerPoint for presentations.
