Job Description

Job Title: Senior Business Development Executive

Are you ready to make a real impact in the FM/HSI/FIRE sector? Bureau Veritas is looking for a Senior Business Development Executive to drive large contract sales, build sustainable partnerships, and help shape the future of our sales strategy.

This role is perfect for a strategic thinker with a strong B2B sales track record working in the Testing, Inspection, and Certification sector, selling FM services. If you're a high-level influencer with key account management experience, we want to hear from you!

Role Purpose: To build a sustainable pipeline of new business or new scope of work for existing clients, meeting individual sales targets, while developing knowledge across a range of services that BU offers.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Develop & execute sales strategy aligned to market & business needs.
  2. Understand & identify clients' needs through Teams or face-to-face meetings, then present BV services as solutions.
  3. Develop lead opportunities from marketing or market trends and needs, including PIA's.
  4. Contact leads within 24 hours of generation and follow up until converted or lost.
  5. Ensure high client satisfaction, measured through NPS score.
  6. Use CRM to create opportunities, manage pipeline, and track activity.
  7. Engage in outbound cold calling, meetings, and emails with high activity levels.
  8. Complete AD50's to ensure contracts meet profit margins.
  9. Forecast sales performance monthly and quarterly to aid planning.
  10. Participate in team meetings, training, and internal stakeholder meetings.
  11. Maintain good communication with internal stakeholders, including engineers, surveyors, inspectors, and RDMs.
  12. Attend relevant events as necessary.
  13. Negotiate T & C's to mitigate risks for BV.

Experience & Skills Required:

  1. Proven success in selling TIC services within the FM sector.
  2. Strong influencing and negotiation skills.
  3. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  4. Networking ability within organizations.
  5. Proficiency in using LinkedIn for industry contacts.
  6. Experience in negotiating T & C's and writing tenders.
