Inside IR35: £500 - £670 per day
Hybrid: 3 days a week in Bedford

An leader in Aerospace R&D is seeking a highly experienced and SC Cleared Senior Business Analyst (+ Business Analyst) to lead and direct the Business Analysis function within the Digital and Technology Department. This role is critical in driving the successful implementation of a new business-wide change process and ensuring the operational landscape - including systems, processes, and security - is compliant with government data-handling classifications (Official-Sensitive/Secret). You will mentor a team of Business Analysts while personally leading the delivery of the most complex, high-impact requirements.

What You'll Be Doing (Key Accountabilities)
- Provide leadership, guidance, coaching, and mentoring to the Business Analyst Team.
- Design, implement, and embed a standardised business-wide change process.
- Lead complex business analysis, conducting discovery and analysis of technical and operational landscapes.
- Assess the operational landscape for compliance with government data-handling requirements and contractual/regulatory obligations.
- Produce high-level logical diagrams covering process steps, asset descriptions, networks, technical specifications, and criticality assessments.
- Identify problem statements, develop requirements, and catalogue all systems/software applications.
- Conduct feasibility and deliverability assessments for change requests.
Must Have:
- SC Cleared status.
- Proven Strong Leadership Skills in directing and mentoring other Business Analysts.
- Essential experience in Senior Stakeholder Engagement and Leadership.
- Expertise in Data Analysis (regulations, input, movement, output, storage, and removal of data).
- Expertise in Process Analysis (modelling, improvement planning, and documentation).
- Experience in Change Management and Requirements Elicitation & Management.
