Senior Azure Cloud Resilience and BCM Architect (f/m/d)

Salary: 50.000 - 65.000 € per year

• Advanced Azure Cloud Architect skills
• Deep understanding of Azure cloud resiliency patterns
• Some Developer Skills are preferred
• Good communication and presentation skills to align with business and IT teams on recommended options and potential trade-offs
• English is our language; German language skills are not required

• Uniper's IT applications in Trading and Selling Energy Commodities are running on Azure and are managed by our in-house IT function. Our IT applications have a Cloud Architecture with a strong focus on High Availability, which is why we are running a dedicated program to further strengthen our IT Landscape in terms of resiliency.
• In this role, I want you to:
• Design cloud architectures that prioritize resilience, incorporating redundancy, failover mechanisms, and other techniques to maximize robustness and minimize recovery times.
• Evaluate different resiliency patterns and their impact on factors like cost, complexity, and performance.
• Advance the monitoring and alerting systems to quickly detect deviations from normal behavior and initiate recovery actions.
• Align with our Information Security Architects in protecting our IT assets.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to discuss business continuity requirements and ensure that the cloud IT architecture meets those requirements.
• Establish a continuous resilience improvement practice based on operational data like incidents, resolution times, RCAs, cloud cost consumption, and evolving business needs.
