Senior AV Engineer

Gold Group is working with a leading systems integrator delivering cutting-edge residential technology solutions across the UK and internationally. Our client specialises in fully integrated AV, lighting, control, networking and security systems for prestigious private homes and large-scale developments.

We are looking for an experienced Senior AV Engineer to take a key technical role in the delivery of high-end residential projects, from installation through to commissioning and handover.

The Role

• Leading on-site installation and commissioning of complex AV systems
• Advanced fault-finding and technical problem solving
• Programming, configuration and commissioning of integrated systems
• Rack building, panel wiring and system testing
• Interpreting and working from detailed drawings and schematics
• Mentoring installers and junior engineers on site
• Liaising closely with project managers, clients and other trades
• Supporting handover, documentation and aftercare where required

Experience Required

• Extensive experience within AV systems integration, ideally residential
• Strong commissioning and troubleshooting capability
• Proven experience with control and integration platforms (e.g. Crestron, Lutron, KNX or similar)
• Excellent understanding of AV signal flow and networking fundamentals
• Confident leading on-site delivery and representing the business professionally
• Willingness to travel within the UK and occasionally overseas
• Programming experience (Crestron, Lutron or equivalent)
• Full UK driving licence
