Job Description
Job Overview

This role will be based in our Letterkenny office, working two days a week. Team members support PGIM's Fixed Income investment teams across the UK, United States and Japan, providing key information on a daily basis. The role is part of the Global Portfolio Administration Accounting team, responsible for daily and monthly position and NAV reconciliations across PGIM Fixed Income funds, ensuring accuracy and integrity of portfolio accounting data between internal systems, custodians and fund administrators.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce daily and monthly NAV and position reconciliations.
  • Review reconciliations with custodian banks and accounting agents to prevent and resolve NAV discrepancies before closing and publishing accounting records.
  • Independently research and resolve position related discrepancies.
  • Proactively communicate issues to relevant business partners.
  • Anticipate issues that may adversely affect operational support of the funds and take action to reduce risk.
  • Seek ways to improve current processes by leveraging available tools to identify inefficiencies.
  • Cultivate internal and external relationships across different countries to ensure proper service levels for each fund supported.
  • Develop an understanding of the fixed income trading business.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business, or equivalent work experience.
  • Prior experience in accounting or custody operations preferred.
  • Inquisitive nature and desire to deliver quality work.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Excel.
  • Knowledge of SQL and ability to work with databases and large datasets is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Determination and ability to thrive in a fast paced environment while working on multiple tasks independently and on a team.
