Senior Associate - Real Estate Liverpool

We are working on an excellent opportunity for a Senior Associate to join a leading Real Estate team within a highly regarded, nationally recognised practice based in Liverpool.

About the Role

This is an opportunity to join a leading real estate practice working closely with an experienced partner group and a well-established team on a broad range of high-quality commercial property matters. The role offers exposure to a diverse client base, including occupiers, developers, investors and lenders, alongside the chance to develop strong client relationships and further build technical expertise within a market leading environment.

You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues across the firm's national real estate group.

What You'll Do
  • Advise a broad range of clients on acquisitions and disposals of investment property, including sale and leaseback transactions
  • Negotiate leases and landlord & tenant documentation for both landlords and tenants
  • Work on acquisition of development and investment sites, including development agreements and disposals to investors
  • Supervise and support junior lawyers on portfolio management matters, including licences, consents and lease grants
  • Review title matters and provide detailed reporting and advice
  • Advise on heads of terms
  • Work closely with colleagues across other teams including Corporate, Banking, Construction and Restructuring
The Ideal Candidate
  • Strong real estate experience at Senior Associate level (or equivalent)
  • Broad commercial property background, ideally with exposure to both investment and development work
  • Excellent technical and drafting ability
  • Strong client-facing skills and commercial awareness
  • Experience supervising or mentoring junior lawyers
  • Collaborative approach and willingness to contribute to a national team environment
