It starts with our people, which is why we need a Senior Analyst Programmer to join our team and deliver and maintain business applications. This involves stakeholder engagement, requirements gathering, ensuring effective execution of stakeholder requirements and a deep understanding of available tools and technologies. The Senior Analyst Programmer also delivers complex business and client-facing projects that integrate with the firm's unique technology platforms. As a key member of the Development team, the role offers the opportunity to lead initiatives in a dynamic, global environment, collaborating with specialists to deliver large-scale enterprise projects both internally and externally, and to be part of a high-energy, successful team spanning the world.
You'll be responsible for:
- Work closely with the Applications, Power Platform Technology Architects to design and configure Development strategies for the global firm.
- Operate with a high proficiency in building solutions across the team's suite of tools, encompassing legal workflows, records retention, collaboration tools and data flow systems.
- Productivity applications include but are not limited to:
- iManage Document Management Integrations
- Knowledge Platforms
- Client and Matter Workflow applications
- Legal Cloud/Web Based applications
- Records Management
- Work closely with legal practice teams to create a deep understanding of legal process in order to recommend the best solution, whether technology or process improvement, to optimize client service delivery.
- Assess risks and impacts arising from a business disruption and make decisions and determine actions independently and expediently to eliminate those risks and ensure the continuity of business.
- Performing root cause analysis on systems issues, recommend and implement solutions to resolve problems.
- Provide operational, day-to-day efforts around design, development, deployment and support of applications, monitoring of existing systems & design, development, deployment and support of integrated systems.
Skills and experience required
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- A deep understanding of development lifecycle and deployment.
- Experience of working in a similar multijurisdictional firm or professional services
- Strongly service-oriented with enthusiasm for the challenges of providing services and resources in large, multi-office law firm setting
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable to support priorities and strategies of the firm; ability to spot value add opportunities to the firm.
- Familiarity with both front end and back development.
- Ability to design, build, and maintain the entire technology stack of a web application or website-from the user interface and user experience (using technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript libraries/frameworks such as React) to the server logic, databases, and APIs (using languages such as c#).
- As a developer you will be capable of handling all aspects of the development process, including web design, database management, and troubleshooting.
- Experience working in cloud environments, ideally Azure.
