Role OverviewThe Deal Management Team (DMT) is a critical business partner for our worldwide Field Operations. DMT enables and supports new and existing selling models to drive revenue acceleration and deal velocity. Acting as a trusted business partner, this team strives to be a single point of contact for all Cohesity deal structuring needs and to build an outstanding customer experience. This role reports to the local Senior Manager and focuses on supporting the Enterprise and Strategic business segments in the UK across all levels of the sales organization.
Key Responsibilities- Provide commercial review and approval of quotes with a focus on price, discount, margin, bill of materials, and commercial terms.
- Engage with key stakeholders on non standard deals.
- Contribute to achieving discounting and pricing targets.
- Provide timely and accurate updates to leadership on deals.
- Triage and manage customer and sales queries to successful resolution.
- Identify automation and operational efficiency opportunities.
- Participate in projects, including system testing of new features and improvements to quoting and related tools.
- 5-8 years of experience in an IT multinational organization in a Deal Management, Deal Desk, Sales Ops, or Sourcing/Procurement role.
- Ability to build strong business partnerships across multiple functions.
- Proven track record of working optimally with sales teams.
- Prior experience with deal structuring, buying programs, and GTM strategies.
- Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to summarize and present sophisticated deals to executive staff and leadership.
