Senior Analyst / Associate - Investment Banking M&A

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytically driven Analyst / Associate to join our Investment Banking M&A Benelux Coverage Benelux Investment Banking Team in Amsterdam. As an Analyst / Associate, you will play a critical role in supporting the execution of mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions, financial advisory services, and strategic initiatives for our clients across the Benelux region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including company valuation, financial modeling (DCF, LBO, precedent transactions, and comparable company analysis)
• Prepare and deliver client presentations, pitch materials, and transaction documentation to support deal execution
• Assist in conducting due diligence, market research, and industry analysis to identify potential M&A opportunities
• Support the execution of live transactions, including managing data rooms, coordinating with clients, legal advisors, and other stakeholders
• Monitor and analyze market trends, industry developments, and competitive landscapes to provide strategic insights to clients
• Work closely with senior bankers and clients to provide high-quality advisory services

Qualifications & Skill:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
• 2-4 years of experience in Investment Banking, M&A, Private Equity, Corporate Finance, or related field
• Strong financial modeling and valuation skills, with a solid understanding of corporate finance principle
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skill
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with strong attention to detail
• Fluent in Dutch and English (both written and spoken)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases (Bloomberg, Capital IQ, FactSet, etc.)
• A team player with a strong work ethic and the ability to take initiative

Language Requirement: Dutch or Belgian National or fluent in Dutch & English
