The Role We are looking for an experienced actuary to lead pricing and analytics across our Specialty, Marine & Energy treaty reinsurance portfolio.Working closely with Brokers and Clients, you will develop pricing methodologies, analytical tools and portfolio insights that support business growth, client retention and placement strategy across a diverse range of Specialty classes.This is an opportunity to help shape the future of Willis Re's analytics capability while working at the forefront of the global reinsurance market. Key Responsibilitie s Lead pricing and portfolio analytics for Specialty, Marine & Energy treaty reinsurance business. Support business across Marine Hull & Machinery, Cargo, Marine Liability, Energy, Aviation, War and Political Violence classes. Develop and enhance actuarial models, pricing tools and analytical frameworks. Deliver experience, exposure and scenario-based analyses to support client and placement strategies. Partner with Brokers and Clients to translate analytical insights into commercial outcomes. Contribute to thought leadership, market insights and industry engagement. Mentor colleagues and promote technical excellence across the Analytics team. Leverage emerging technologies, including AI-enabled solutions, to drive innovation and efficiency. About You Qualified Actuary (FIA, FCAS or equivalent). Strong reinsurance pricing experience within the London Market. Deep expertise in at least two Specialty, Marine or Energy classes, with a broad understanding across the wider portfolio. Experience developing pricing tools, methodologies or analytical capabilities. Strong communication skills with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Commercially minded, innovative and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment. Desirable Experience with catastrophe modelling and accumulation analysis. Python, SQL, Power BI or Tableau. Experience with stochastic pricing platforms such as Igloo. Practical application of Generative AI within actuarial or analytical workflows.
