Senior Accountant/Financial Controller Dutch

Our client, an international company within Tax & Legal Services, is looking for Senior Accountant/Financial Controller fluent in Dutch and experienced enough to combine strategic financial insight with a hands-on approach. This is a key role in managing the company's financial reporting, ensuring accurate bookkeeping, and establishing a solid financial framework to support their expanding business. It reports to and partners with the CFO for process optimization, creating a future proof finance organization.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Own and execute the full financial reporting cycle - monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting
• Ensure accurate bookkeeping across five business entities
• Prepare cash flow forecasts and budgets and monitor cost allocations, and intercompany transactions
• Ensure compliance with Dutch GAAP and local tax obligations
• Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
• Hands-on experience with day-to-day accounting and general ledger, as well as strong knowledge of Dutch accounting standards
• Solid Excel skills and experience with Exact software
• Language skills: Professional Dutch speaker and fluent in English
