Senior Accountant

Are you a qualified Accountant with practice experience looking for a challenging senior role reporting directly to partners and associates? This opportunity is for someone who is well rounded, independent, and ready to take on responsibilities within a dynamic team.

Role and responsibilities:

• Prepare accounts for limited companies, LLP's and partnerships.
• Create management accounts, vat returns, and financial forecasts.
• Handle all areas of taxation and prepare corporation tax computations.
• Lead and manage audit assignments from planning to completion.
• Resolve accounts queries with clients and maintain high-quality account and audit files.
• Supervise and provide feedback on work prepared by junior team members.

Ideal candidate:

• ACA or ACCA qualified with at least 3 years of practice experience.
• Experience in audit assignments is desirable but not essential.
• Excellent communication skills and technical knowledge.
• Ability to manage junior team members and their development.
• Proficiency in accounts software such as IRIS, Sage, Xero, QuickBooks.
