Job Description

Job Title: Senior Account Manager (Telecommunications)

Location: Den Haag, Netherlands

Salary Range: €70,000 - €110,000 base, depending on candidate profile and performance

Bonus: Up to 2 months' salary (negotiable for outstanding candidates)

Travel Frequency: High

Company Car: No (car allowance provided)

Language: Fluent in Dutch and English (both spoken and written).


Job Description

We are seeking experienced Senior Account Managers to lead key account strategies, drive project success, and cultivate long-term partnerships in the telecommunications sector. This role focuses on direct engagement with key decision-makers and requires strategic vision, strong project leadership, and deep market insight.


Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent; engineering or science background strongly preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in the Telecommunications industry, ideally in direct sales to operators or telecom infrastructure.

Technical & Professional Skills:

  • Solid understanding of telecommunications solutions, services, and sales cycles.
  • Proven success in project operations, contract negotiation, and transaction management.
  • Skilled in sales process execution, project delivery, and operational performance.
  • Able to build and sustain long-term client relationships.


Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and manage relationships with key decision-makers (KR) and operational representatives (OR); develop customer relationship plans to enhance market presence.
  • Lead or support as PD/core member on key projects, driving project operations and winning high-value contracts.
  • Analyze customer strategies to uncover strategic collaboration opportunities and implement actionable strategic plans.
  • Identify customer pain points in business, network, and service areas; influence requirements and provide tailored solutions.
  • Lead negotiations, design transaction models, and manage project operations, including dispute resolution and risk management in complex cases.
