Our client is looking for a Senior / Principal Civil Engineer to join their growing team in Cambridge. They have a multitude of projects at various stages in their project lifecycle, from appraisal through to construction and in several different sectors.

These include residential, leisure, commercial, and retirement & care. Their clients range from local smaller scale businesses to local government, respected regional contractors, national housebuilders, and commercial developers.

• Lead civil engineering design (drainage, highways, S278/S38)
• Oversee and mentor junior engineers, supporting ICE progression
• Manage resources and review design work
• Liaise with architects, developers, and local authorities
• Prepare fee proposals and uphold quality standards
• Use AutoCAD and Site 3D (or equivalent)

• Chartered or working towards CEng (ICE)
• Degree/HND in Civil Engineering
• Strong project and team management experience
• Skilled in coordinating with local authorities and stakeholders
• Confident handling projects across planning stages
