Job Title: SENCo Assistant
Location: The Holden School, Leigh WN7 4SB
Salary: £24,500.00 per annum (not pro rata)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, Tuesday 8.30am - 4.30pm, Monday & Wednesday to Friday 8.30am - 4.00pm
Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only

We now have a fantastic opportunity for a SENCo Assistant to join our close-knit team at The Holden School.
About the Role
The SENCo Assistant will ensure that, in collaboration with the Special Education Needs provision, they assist across all aspects of the SENCo role.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with;
- Parents, relevant family members and carers.
- Key stake holders within Local Authorities (SEND, CSC etc) and across other agencies and professional organisations.
- All staff across the school setting.
- Collate and share key documents in preparation for the Annual Review ie Education, Health, Educational Psychology, Therapy and any other reports, with meeting delegates as per SEND Code of Practice within statutory time frames.
- Record and share EHCP Annual Review summary reports with delegates as per the SEND CoP statutory time frames.
- Manage and securely store all information relating to the EHCP process as per GDPR within the UGS site both electronically and paper.

The ideal candidate for Assistant SENCo will possess the following qualifications/attributes
- Special Education experience
- GCSE English and Maths
- Willingness to learn and attend personal development sessions
