Job Description
We are seeking an experienced, passionate and strategic SENCO to join a dedicated team in Northampton. This is an exciting opportunity for a committed practitioner to lead and develop high-quality SEND provision across the school.The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that all pupils with additional needs receive outstanding support, enabling them to achieve their full potential academically, socially and emotionally.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage the school's SEND provision in line with the SEND Code of PracticeIdentify and assess pupils with special educational needs and coordinate appropriate supportDevelop and review EHCPs and provision mapsWork closely with staff, parents, external agencies and the Local AuthorityProvide guidance, training and support to colleagues to ensure inclusive classroom practiceMonitor progress of SEND pupils and report to SLT and governorsThe Ideal Candidate Will Have:Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)The National Award for SEN Coordination (NASENCO) or willingness to complete itProven experience supporting pupils with a range of SEND needsStrong leadership, organisational and communication skillsA commitment to inclusion and raising outcomes for all learnersThis role is 3 days a week, Pro rata.Teaching Tomorrow Ltd is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
