Job Description

Are you a dedicated and experienced special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) tutor looking for a rewarding part-time role in the Ruislip area? Our client, a prominent educational organisation in Greater London, is seeking a talented SEND Tutor to join their team and make a meaningful impact on the lives of young learners.

In this position, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of students, each with their own unique learning needs and challenges. Your role will be to create individualised lesson plans, employ innovative teaching strategies, and provide the one-on-one support necessary for these students to flourish academically and personally. The salary range for this part-time role is £30-£40 per hour, making it an excellent opportunity for experienced SEND professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with parents, carers, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student development
  • Maintain detailed records and provide regular feedback on student progress
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Relevant teaching qualification, such as a PGCE or QTS
  • Significant experience working with SEND students in a tutoring or classroom setting
  • In-depth knowledge of SEND teaching strategies and best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team of education professionals
  • Commitment to continuing professional development
