SEND Teaching Assistant

We are currently looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school from September on a full time basis, Monday Friday 8:30 4:00pm.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups where everyday is different
• Support in creating engaging and inclusive learning experiences
• Encourage positive behaviours and celebrate achievements
• Keep high standards of Safeguarding, health and safety

The ideal candidate

• Has previous SEND experience (min 3 months desirable)
• Is patient, empathetic and has a passion for supporting child development
• An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
• Live around Watford or happy to commute

Pay rate is dependent on qualifications, experience and skills.
