SEND Teaching Assistant - Romford/East London

Are you a compassionate individual with a passion for supporting students with Special Educational Needs? We have a rewarding role for you. We are currently seeking dedicated and creative SEND Teaching Assistants to join our team across Romford/East London.

Key Details:

• Competitive pay: £93 to £110 per day
• Primary & Secondary SEND roles available
• Full-time position: Monday to Friday, 8:30-15:30 / 8:00-16:00
• Immediate or September 2026 start
• Romford/East London

The Role:

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will have the incredible opportunity to make a difference in the lives of students with a wide range of needs. Your role will involve working within four broad categories of need:

• Communication and interaction
• Cognition and learning
• Social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH)
• Sensory and/or physical needs

While experience or training in Special Educational Needs or healthcare would be beneficial, it is not essential. What matters most is your kind-hearted nature, patience, and willingness to think creatively to unlock each child's potential and love for learning.

You will work closely with class teachers and, in some cases, external therapy teams to support students in achieving their individual goals. This is a hands on role where adaptability, motivation, and a proactive approach are key.
