The RoleYou will be supporting pupils with a range of complex needs, helping them access education in a safe, structured, and nurturing environment. This includes both classroom-based support and assisting with daily care routines.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing tailored support to children with complex learning needs
• Assisting with personal care in a respectful and dignified manner
• Supporting sensory activities and interventions
• Safely carrying out moving and handling procedures
• Administering medication where required (following training and guidelines)
• Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and support staff

Essential Requirements

• Hoist training (or willingness to obtain)
• Confidence in providing personal care
• Experience or understanding of SEND environments
• Skills in moving and handling, sensory support, and medication administration
• A calm, patient, and proactive approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
