Job Description

Are you a caring, patient, and enthusiastic individual with a passion for supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)? We are looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team at a warm and inclusive primary school in North Somerset.

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to support pupils with a range of additional needs.
  • Help students to access learning and achieve their full potential.
  • Create a nurturing, positive learning environment where every child feels valued and understood.
  • Support pupil progress in a proactive, patient, and committed manner.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Experience supporting children with SEND in a school or similar setting.
  • Passionate about inclusive education and making a difference.
  • Demonstrates empathy, resilience, and adaptability.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Proactive, patient, and committed to supporting pupil progress.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
