Job Description
Overview

SEND Support Staff - SEND Primary School in Hounslow. A school in Hounslow is seeking dedicated SEND Support Staff to join their team, working alongside pupils with additional needs. Through high quality classroom teaching, a holistic approach and high expectations, the school prepares children to become successful and independent learners. Some pupils require additional support to achieve their full potential, and working closely with families is key to ensuring the best outcomes.

About the School

The school hosts two specialist SEND Centres on behalf of the London Borough of Hounslow:

  • One for pupils with physical disabilities
  • One for pupils with moderate learning difficulties (MLD)
Role Details

Hours: 8:30 am - 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday

Pay: £89 per day PAYE (starting rate)

  • Supporting pupils with additional needs in the classroom
  • Assisting teachers with learning, behaviour, and daily activities
  • Promoting independence and social development
  • Working collaboratively with families and professionals
