SEND Teacher

Axcis Education is recruiting for a qualified teacher position at a specialist school in Kirkham (PR4) that caters to children aged 4 19. The role involves working with sixth form pupils and younger children with diverse special needs, including autism, ADHD, and moderate to severe learning difficulties.

Responsibilities

You will manage a class of approximately twelve students, support primary level learners (KS1/KS2), and collaborate with teaching assistants to deliver instruction. Responsibilities include lesson planning, classroom management, and supporting students with varying abilities in a supportive, forward thinking setting.

Qualifications

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience working with students of diverse abilities, especially in special education
• Strong classroom management and lesson planning skills
