SEND Teacher

Overview

Axcis Education are seeking a dedicated SEND Teacher to support a Secondary SEMH provision in Torbay. The role starts after February Half Term, or from after Easter, and continues until the end of the summer term. Location: Torbay. Start date: After Feb Half Term or Easter. Hours: 8.30-16.00. Duration: Until the end of the term. Role: SEND Teacher/Unqualified Teacher. Focus: Supporting secondary-aged students with SEMH needs.

Responsibilities

• Teach across the curriculum with learning planned to KS2 level, with aspects of KS3 for some learners.
• Be confident delivering in English and/or Maths.
• Support pupils with SEMH needs in a mainstream or SEND provision.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Experience teaching in a mainstream or SEND provision.
• Open to either a qualified teacher or an unqualified teacher.
