SEND Teaching Assistant - Complex Needs & Personal Care- Birmingham B6Are you an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity within a specialist school?Aspire People are currently recruiting for a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join a specialist provision supporting pupils with complex needs. This is a Monday to Thursday position, working 8:30am - 3:00pm, supporting children with a combination of complex learning needs, physical disabilities and challenging behaviour.The successful candidate will be confident providing personal care, supporting pupils with daily routines and helping to create a safe, positive and engaging learning environment. Previous experience working within a SEND setting is essential.The successful candidate will have:Previous experience supporting children with complex SEND needs.Experience providing personal care.Strong behaviour management skills.A calm, patient and resilient approach.An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one at your own cost.Please note: No training will be provided.
