Experienced SEND Support Staff - Daily Supply Opportunities in Walthamstow

Protocol Education is seeking experienced SEND Support Staff to work on a daily supply basis in mainstream nurseries and primary schools across Walthamstow. To make the most of the opportunities available we recommend being available for around 3 days per week.

We are looking for dedicated and adaptable individuals who have experience supporting children and young people with additional needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, Speech and Language Difficulties, SEMH and other complex learning needs.

The Role

• Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEND
• Supporting children both in and out of the classroom
• Promoting positive behaviour and engagement in learning
• Working closely with Teachers and SEND teams
• Adapting to different school environments and pupil needs

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEND
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills
• A patient, resilient and proactive approach
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Available for flexible daily supply work
• Available to work a minimum of 3 days per week

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
