Middle School Math Teacher
Relocation - Qatar - August 2026 Start>

Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and student-focused Middle School Math Teacher to support learners in Grades 6-8 (aged 9-13). You support students as they build strong foundational math skills, develop confidence, and strengthen logical reasoning. Instruction emphasises conceptual understanding, problem solving, and real-world application while responding to varied learning needs during a critical developmental stage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver engaging math lessons aligned with middle school standards, including number sense, ratios and proportions, expressions and equations, geometry, and data analysis.
  • Use differentiated instruction to support a wide range of readiness levels, learning profiles, and support needs.
  • Build a classroom culture focused on curiosity, persistence, and positive attitudes toward mathematics.
  • Use formative and summative assessments to monitor progress and inform instruction.
  • Provide targeted support and enrichment through small-group instruction and individualised strategies.
  • Support students in developing mathematical reasoning, academic language, and problem solving strategies.
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment where students feel confident to ask questions and learn from errors.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, learning support staff, and families to support academic and social development
  • Reflect on practice and adjust instructional approaches to improve student engagement and outcomes.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Valid teaching certification, license, or equivalency with at least 3 years of teaching experience.
  • Experience teaching middle school mathematics, preferably in inclusive or diverse classroom settings.
  • Strong skill in differentiating instruction and scaffolding concepts for varied learners.
  • Clear communication, strong organization, and effective classroom management skills.
  • Commitment to helping adolescents develop confidence, resilience, and strong mathematical foundations.

Requirement: UK QTS essential
