About the Role

Location: Havering, RM11
Salary: £14.25 per hour
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:45 AM - 4 PM

We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to provide 1:1 support to a student with autism in a mainstream school. You will help the student, aged , overcome barriers to learning and social interactions, supporting their academic and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support to a student, addressing their learning and emotional needs.
• Assist with personalised learning plans and help the student engage in classroom activities.
• Work with staff to track the student's progress and offer emotional support.
• Personal care may be required.

Skills and Experience Required

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Compassionate, patient, and proactive approach to supporting students.
• Enthusiasm for helping students succeed.
• Enhanced child and adult DBS or willingness to apply for one.
