SEND Learning Support Assistant - 16+

Location: Erith, DA8. Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 3:30pm.

About the Role

This role involves supporting young people with a range of additional needs, including:

• PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties)
• SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs)
• Challenging behaviour
• Medical needs
• Down's Syndrome
• Cerebral Palsy
• Wheelchair users

You will play a key role in helping students access learning, regulate their emotions, and develop essential life skills.

Curriculum and Environment

The setting provides a practical and engaging curriculum tailored to preparing students for adulthood, including:

• Independent living skills and daily routines
• Creative activities such as drama, arts and crafts
• End of year performances and productions
• Forest School and outdoor learning
• Community based work placements

This is a hands on environment where no two days are the same.
