SEND (EYFS) Teacher - Lewisham

We are looking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic EYFS SEND Teacher to join our inclusive early years provision in Lewisham. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled practitioner who is passionate about ensuring children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) receive the highest quality start to their education.
You will be responsible for delivering personalised, engaging learning experiences tailored to meet a wide range of additional needs within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver creative, differentiated EYFS curriculum provision
- Identify and assess children with emerging and diagnosed SEND needs
- Develop, implement, and review Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
- Deliver targeted interventions to support communication, social interaction, and early development
- Work closely with the SENCO, teaching assistants, and external professionals
- Build strong partnerships with parents and carers
- Track progress and maintain accurate records in line with statutory requirements
- Create a nurturing, safe, and inclusive classroom environment
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Proven experience within EYFS
- Strong understanding of SEND, including ASD, speech and language needs, and SEMH
- Experience adapting teaching approaches and environments to meet individual needs
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A calm, patient, and child-centred approach
- SEND qualification or specialist training
- Experience within a specialist provision or resource base
- A supportive and experienced leadership team
- Access to high-quality CPD and SEND-specific training
