Are you an enthusiastic SEND Class Teacher with a passion for supporting pupils with special educational needs? A warm and nurturing special school in Solihull is seeking a Primary SEND Teacher to join their dedicated team. This welcoming school supports pupils with a range of complex needs and provides a caring environment where every child is encouraged to grow, learn, and thrive.
This role requires a SEND Class Teacher with strong communication skills and the ability to plan and deliver differentiated lessons for pupils with diverse needs, including Autism, MLD, and communication differences. You will be teaching a small primary class and supported by experienced Teaching Assistants who work closely with you to create a calm, structured, and engaging learning environment.
Job Role- Teaching a primary-aged SEND class and adapting lessons to meet pupils' individual needs.
- Creating a nurturing, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
- Using effective behaviour strategies to support emotional regulation and positive routines.
- Working closely with Teaching Assistants, therapists, and the leadership team to deliver high-quality provision.
- Encouraging pupil independence, confidence, and communication through structured learning activities.
- A friendly and supportive school where staff work closely as a team.
