SENCo (or Assistant SENCo - Training Provided) Special School Sutton, SM6
Hours: 9:00am - 3:45pm Term Time
Salary: Paid to Scale

We are seeking a committed and compassionate SENCo, or an Assistant SENCo willing to train, to join a welcoming special school in Sutton (SM6). This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced SENCo or a developing professional looking to progress into the role with full support and training.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support SEND provision across the school
• Work closely with teaching staff, therapists and external professionals
• Oversee EHCPs, reviews and personalised learning plans
• Support staff with inclusive practice and SEND strategies
• Ensure statutory SEND requirements are met

Qualifications

• Qualified SENCo or Assistant SENCo ready to train into the role
• Experience working within a special school or SEND setting
• Strong understanding of a range of additional needs
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Passion for improving outcomes for children with SEND
