We are working with welcoming and inclusive schools across Braintree seeking an outstanding SENCO to join their leadership team. This SENCO role in Braintree offers the opportunity to lead SEND strategy, support staff development, and ensure pupils receive high-quality, tailored provision.

As a SENCO in Braintree, you will oversee SEND identification, coordinate interventions, and liaise with parents, external agencies, and senior leaders. Schools in Braintree are looking for a proactive SENCO who can embed inclusive practice, drive progress for vulnerable learners, and ensure statutory responsibilities are fully met.

Lead SEND provision as the school's SENCO. Manage EHCP processes and annual reviews across Braintree settings. Support teachers with effective differentiation and inclusive strategies. Line manage support staff and deploy resources effectively. Work closely with SLT to develop whole-school SEND strategy in Braintree.

Proven experience working as a SENCO or in a senior SEND role. National Award for SEN Coordination (or willingness to complete). Strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice. Experience liaising with parents and external professionals. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply). A passionate, organised, and strategic SENCO committed to inclusive education in Braintree.
