SchoolYou'll be joining a vibrant, inclusive primary school with a strong commitment to supporting every child. The role is 1:1 based with a pupil with ASD, giving you the chance to provide meaningful, tailored support.

Responsibilities-
Work closely with teachers to design and adapt personalised learning plans that meet individual needs.

Provide 1:1 and small-group support using evidence-based strategies to boost progress and engagement.

Encourage positive interactions and model appropriate behaviours, helping pupils build confidence and social skills.

Support classroom learning by reinforcing effective strategies and creating an inclusive environment.

Track and record pupil progress, sharing updates with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure joined-up support.

Collaborate with colleagues, including counsellors and external specialists, to address pupils' wider developmental needs.

Previous experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar role (SEN experience is highly desirable).

A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach.

Relevant training or qualifications in education (desirable but not essential).
