We are looking for a dedicated professional to support young people in improving their learning, safeguarding them, and raising attendance, attainment, and achievement.

Responsibilities
  • Helping young people with their learning.
  • Supporting pupils to make progress against their EHCP targets.
  • Safeguarding and protecting our pupils.
  • Raise attendance, attainment, and achievement.
  • Working alongside our pupils and help support their learning and life skills.
Qualifications and Professional Development (Desirable)
  • Level 2 or Level 3 in Teaching and learning or equivalent.
Skills and Abilities Essential
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a range of people both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to think out of the box and adapt the learning for each pupil.
  • Well organised and self-motivated.
  • Confident user of IT as a work tool.
  • Good interpersonal skills including ability to work effectively in a team of people and agencies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively.
Knowledge
  • Current Disability/SEN theory and practice particularly linked to Autism.
  • Safeguarding and child protection frameworks.
  • Relevant legal and scrutiny frameworks.
  • Inclusive approaches to raise attendance, attainment, and achievement.
About the School

Our school is based in Frodsham, rural Cheshire on a beautiful 84 acre site. We offer up to 40 places for students aged 7 to 19 years. The school provides a supportive environment for children with complex needs arising from autism, behavioural and learning difficulties, fostering confidence and new friendships. Dedicated staff deliver first class support across education, health, care, and therapy teams, working closely with parents, carers and funders to ensure every iMap student reaches their optimum level of achievement.
