Job Title: SEN Teacher
Location: Norton College, Worcester, WR5 2BA
Salary: Up to £39,519,90 per annum (not pro rata)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Contract: Permanent, Term Time only

As part of our continued growth and commitment to providing outstanding education, Norton College is excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher with an English specialism to join our close-knit team in Worcester.
About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative teacher to deliver high-quality, personalised learning to pupils with a range of complex needs. As part of our specialist teaching team, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging English lessons that support students' academic progress and personal development. Your teaching will be supported by our experienced leadership team and the wider expertise within Outcomes First Group.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to focus more on creative, meaningful teaching and less on excessive paperwork. You'll work in a collaborative environment where safeguarding is a priority, pupils' voices are heard, and every student is supported to achieve their full potential.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for a teacher who:
- Has Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Holds a subject specialism in English
- Has a genuine interest in working with pupils with SEN, including those with autism and complex needs
- Can deliver differentiated and engaging lessons tailored to individual needs
- Is calm, resilient, and passionate about helping vulnerable young people succeed
- Has excellent classroom management skills and a flexible approach
Previous experience in a specialist or SEN setting is desirable but not essential - we offer full training and support for the right candidate with strong teaching skills and the right mindset.
