Are you a passionate and dedicated teacher looking to make a meaningful impact on the lives of pupils with Special Educational Needs? We are seeking a committed SEN Teacher to join a specialist provision in Weymouth, supporting pupils who require a tailored and nurturing approach to their education. This is a rewarding opportunity to work within a supportive and well resourced setting, where staff are committed to delivering high quality, personalised learning and promoting pupil wellbeing.
As a SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the diverse needs of pupils with SEN. You will create a structured, supportive classroom environment that enables pupils to feel safe, build confidence, and achieve their individual goals. Working closely with support staff and external professionals, you will play a key role in shaping each pupil's educational journey.
Qualifications- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have experience teaching within KS2, ideally within an SEN or specialist setting
- Demonstrate strong behaviour management and a calm, adaptable approach
- Be confident in delivering personalised and inclusive lessons
- Show a genuine commitment to supporting pupils with additional needs
- Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Pay to scale
