Job Title: SEN Teacher

Location: Bromley

Contract: Full time, Permanent

Salary: MPS/UPS (Outer London) + SEN Allowance £37,870 - £56,154

Start Date: January 2026

Our Bromley SEN School is seeking to appoint an experienced and committed SEN Teacher to join our dedicated team from January 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a nurturing, values-driven school that places inclusion, wellbeing and cooperation at the heart of everything we do.

Our Bromley SEN School is a specialist setting in the London Borough of Bromley, supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs. We pride ourselves on small class sizes, strong therapeutic support and a relational approach that enables pupils to re-engage with learning and achieve personal success. Our staff work collaboratively to create a calm, structured and aspirational environment where every child is known and valued.

As an SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality, differentiated teaching that meets the individual needs of pupils. You will work closely with support staff, therapists, families and external professionals to implement effective strategies and personalised learning plans. The role requires excellent behaviour management, strong communication skills and a deep understanding of SEND practice.

We are looking for an SEN Teacher who:

  • Has proven experience working with pupils with special educational needs

  • Demonstrates inclusive, adaptive and trauma-informed teaching approaches

  • Is confident in assessing progress and adapting provision accordingly

  • Works effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

  • Is committed to safeguarding, equality and pupil wellbeing
